Jackie's Story

Jackie first came to me for coaching to help figure out how to get her own business going. She was a designer who had recently lost her job with a big company. Her spirits and confidence level were low, and yet she knew that she had the experience and talent to make it on her own.

We worked together with her dreams and her visions of who she could become in the world. We focused on those images and dreams that empowered her and gave her confidence.

Through the coaching she learned how to make decisions in her own best interest and that honored her vision of owning her own business and becoming her own boss.

She moved to a larger city and took a new job, all the while laying the groundwork for getting her own business going. After six months of coaching she had her first private client and was developing the marketing plan needed to get her name out and attract more clients. By the end of the year she was out on her own and building her own business, happy, fulfilled and confident once again.

Testimonials: Our Clients Say..

I am ecstatic about the dream workshops Kate
Ebersole has led for our congregation and am pleased to
introduce her to you.  Kate has been a wise and knowledgeable
guide both for adult education classes as well as elementary
and middle school groups at our church.  Kate has a winsome
and welcoming manner about her that makes interaction between group participants and her both easy and instructive.

Because in scripture we learn that dreams are one of the
significant ways in which God “speaks” to our deeper selves,
these seminars on dreams, remembering our dreams, and dream
interpretation have been spiritually illuminating for our members
and, in more than a few cases, a source of healing and insight.
Neither dogmatic nor sectarian in her approach, but very skilled
and competent, I enthusiastically recommend Kate to you and
your church
.

"Coactive Life Coaching, and more specifically
coaching from Kate Ebersole, has been an incredibly
enrichening activity for me. I cannot say enough good about this service, it's where psychology and spirituality
meet the business world.  Yet coaching seems solely concerned with the 'today' while preparing me for the 'tomorrow'."

"I'd like you to know that I am very grateful to have    your partnership in my quest to know myself, improve myself   and the quality of my life. You listened to me attentively and   unconditionally: with patience and understanding.   You helped me sift through the old, limiting recipes of my past
...I can replace them with positive affirmations and fresh perspectives. With compassion and enthusiasm, you opened   your pantry of wisdom and offered me the tools to create...tools of abundance...tools for planting and nurturing the seeds within."

                                                      -L.S.

"I learned to interpret my dreams. You have helped me to learn that my dreams have many meanings and I am the only one that can figure out what they are and what they really mean. Now I can use my dreams as my own personal roadmap and I feel that I am on my way to reaching my full potential. "
                                                      -K.B.

You may have heard or read about coaching and wondered whether this might be something beneficial for your business. Looking closer at the some of the different kinds of coaching can give you a better idea of what might work specifically for you and/or your organization.

Life coaching is one on one coaching that is done with individuals. When this is done in an organization it is usually referred to as executive coaching. It is forward focused, meaning that the coaching is targeted towards future goals and the coach works with the executive or manager to find the best ways to meet both their personal and organizational goals and objectives.

The belief is that if an executive or manager receives coaching on their whole life, they will be better able to perform within the organizational environment. A study done by Manchester Inc. on the benefits of coaching to organizations and to the individuals who had received the coaching showed impressive improvements such as increased productivity (reported by 53% of the executives), increased bottom-line profitability, improved working relationships with peers and direct reports, and increased job satisfaction.

Organizational systems coaching is a new variation which combines executive coaching with systems theory to provide a form of coaching for teams and work groups. This type of coaching is based on the belief that all teams are naturally generative; creating ideas, emotions, connections and plans. Organizational systems coaching uses techniques to ensure that what is generated is effective and intentional.

In all cases it is recommended that you meet your coach to design your objectives before starting the coaching, and to verify their credentials as a coach (their training, certifications or other forms of accreditation by the International Coaching Federation). If it is executive coaching that you are interested in, it is also recommended to get a free sample of the coaching before hiring a coach to assure that there is a good fit in terms of style and dynamics.
